Move 2015/2016
The first Move project that was set up by Storm in 2015/2016 included Michelle van Mulken, Nathalie Reyenga, Sterre Westenbrink, Caro Engels and Lusanne Smink. Together with group 7 of primary school De Piramide in Overvecht we accomplished to create a vegetable garden at the school. Not only did the children learn where their food comes from during the outsidelessons, but also during a number of substantive lessons we further discussed this. The children also came to the university for a day to visit the Botanical Gardens, and during a short lecture by Frank van Laerhoven they learned more about the issues regarding food distribution. During the celebratory completion of the project the children prepared delicious snacks for the whole school with the harvest of their vegetable garden.
