As former politician, Minister of Environment (VROM) and chair of the WWF in The Netherlands, I’m aware of the challenges humankind faces with regards to our living environment and I have worked towards tackling these challenges head on. In my most recent capacity as chair of the Klimaatberaad, the core organization involved with the Dutch Climate Accord, I was once again working with many others to provide a better future for the whole of society. However, in the end, this better future is something we all have to work on, a better future for all, by all. Therefore, I think organizations like Storm are able and crucial in reaching and engaging people, in this case students, to be actively involved in realizing this better future. We all have a part to play in the transition to a brighter future and Storm is doing just that!
