Wellbeing Committee
Presenting 2024-2025 Wellbeing Committee: the De-Stressed Divas 😼🌟
Studying while also working, socialising and more can become stressful at times. That is why we care about Stormers’ wellbeing! Maintaining good mental health is equally important as physical health, and for that, we bring you several events. From creative activities (colouring, making candles) to a Wellbeing Month filled with de-stressed afternoons during exam season, we ensure our lovely Stormer can take breaks and be well-rested while being busy bees 🧘🌷 .
We are also working on improving the Wellbeing Information and Tips, which you can find on another tab of the Storm website. Here you can find different topics related to student wellbeing. There is no right or wrong, so don’t worry if something doesn’t apply to you. Rather than a place of education, we want to give out as much information and tips as we know. Then, you have full freedom to choose whatever to read and to do. We hope what we provide can help you work on your wellbeing if that is within your interest of course ❤🩹
Last but not least, meet the club consists of 8 divas who are behind all the works above:Rosalie - our Chair, who makes sure everyone does their tasks and keeps the committee running smoothly. She is a lovely person to be with, and while being the best at her job, she loves getting StressPoints for mistakenly saying its former name - BeerPoints ;)
Erik - our vice-Chair: he helps Rosalie with the Chair’s tasks, and hosts meetings when Rosalie is not present. Erik is always happy and energetic which gives a positive vibe to the committee, except when he gives other committee members stress for not knowing the words in the minutes a bit more times than others (lots of StressPoints I would say)
Zoë - our Secretary, who locks in and types her best every meeting to give us awesome minutes. She surprised everyone with her creative ability when she designed the committee’s logo and shirt, and this sweet person definitely knows what she is doing because she has the least StressPoints in our committee <3
Ruben - our Treasurer: we all know what is first and foremost in organising an event - money ;). That is why Ruben makes good budgets so that we can make the best events out of what we have. He is one of our smiley first year who brings a lot of youth energy to the club!
Noah - our Board Representative. His job on the committee is like a bridge between us and the Board (the one who makes things possible!). He also finds us lots of things from Storm’s basement for our events and brings comfy vibes to the committee because he is always so calm.
Pepijn - our Commissioner of Bonding, who is irreplaceable for our bond. Every time we talk about bonding he is very excited and enthusiastic, with his effort our committee can become closer together, which is really heartwarming for member’s wellbeing I believe ;)
Ania - our former Commissioner of Promotion. Although she couldn’t stay until the end, with her bubbly and cool energy, she created great promotions for our events and was a lovely committee member.
Phuong - our new Commissioner of Promotion. She was just there for the vibes (no specific function) because any wellbeing-related activities you can name are probably her hobbies (painting, reading, etc ;). She loves chilling and is not into the extroverted life, but since Ania has left, Phuong is now pulling out her ambiguous creativity to write nice promotion texts for the committee (she hopes they are ;)
With lots of love,
-Xx the De-Stressed Divas
P.s. Remember that we are all in this together, you are never alone, and you are part of the Storm family <3
